When is it our turn? In case you don't already know I'm African-American, and if you guys will indulge me, I need to race rant here. I know racism is apparent in society, of course, and its everywhere in the internet for 'lulz' I've gotten over that. However I must say it is hard enough for young women in America to grow up with the constant image of what is beauty.

It's hard enough for women to come to grip with the reality that one might not have the same frame as the 100th skinny blonde on the cover of a magazine. I am by all means proud of how far the image black women has come, but still there is the presence of the satire that black women are loud and ugly. I find many women beautiful, tall, short, all colors, sizes and so forth.

The women that I admire and find beautiful are Nichelle Nichols, Marilyn Monroe, Zoe Saldana and Beyonce but the list goes on. I had the misfortune of coming across AskMen.com's 99 sexiest women of 2009 and automatically assumed that maybe four black women and a few Hispanic. Of course, I was right, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that both Zoe (in the 20's) and Beyonce (#6) where there.

I looked at the comments even though I knew I shouldn't have. There were the standard 'she's hot' and 'I'd do her' comments. Then the 'she shouldn't be in the top 10' or 'she's ugly' and I thought to each his own.... then these came up 'Ugh nigg@rs shouldn't have the internet then I wouldn't have to see this monkey.' I thought troll automatically and moved on, BAD IDEA. Then I saw, 'she should be on Crack pipe or something or ruther magazine or miss Haiti monthly.' I thought....too much.

I find this hard for me to grasp. How can someone hold so much contempt for a group of people who done nothing to you. When I see comments like this I think of all the African-Americans that defend this country, serve and protect and the commander and chief of our country. Whatever let it go gurl. Beyonce was #1 on the list '05 so that must mean something.

I got it! Star Trek 2-disk dvd with the glorious special features.

I was up last night taking photos for this spontaneous project. I wasn't trying to make them anime like, I just tried to capture their personality and features. Please tell me what you think.:)

Alright, so... I just realized now that can't post good pictures on my LJ because  I don't have a upgraded account, dammit all, but I guess I can link it to a viewable site. Sound good? Yeah apparently they reduce the quality of the photos if you don't have a paid account, I may be wrong I'll try it again later...sigh.

Ok.... I need to do this whole photo shoot all over again. The quality is not that good. It was a good idea at the time, I was a bit to hasty with taking the photos, well better luck next time.:D

I am soooo happy right now, I finally got adobe photoshop! I can't wait to use it, I have only used it a couple of times at school so I'm a little rusty. Buuut now I can make some better in game photos of my sims.:D Annd this can help with my portfolio.*gasp*

It's been a while but hey this is my first post! Isn't that something? (Not really) So, as some people can tell I'm a fan of Junjo Romantica. I completely fascinated and amazed by it. I also love the Sims so I'm try to post all types of goodies for general public like: recolors of clothes and furniture for the Sims, and scans and little tidbits about JR. But since the series is over i have been pretty depressed about it, but the manga is still ongoing so who knows what's in store. K, well, I can't think of nothing else to say so, I'm a try and set out and fulfill my goals. Oh, by the way, I written a few, (more like two) fan-fictions about my precious Usagi-san and Misaki. I'll post some here.
